Since 1972, the La Taillade holiday village has been nestled there, in Lot et Garonne, in the heart of a forest of oaks and pine trees, located a stone's throw from the pretty spa town of Casteljaloux.

Indeed, since the beginning of its existence, the holiday village has embodied a project forged in the values of social tourism and that of the social and solidarity economy. At the beginning of its existence, the Village's project was to make vacation time accessible to families facing disabilities or even social difficulties. Gradually, the village develops, becomes more professional, some accommodations emerge and its clientele diversifies. A temporary residence for elderly people has been created and the holiday village welcomes holidaymakers who come from all walks of life. On the Taillade site, "living together" is not a utopia, it comes true in a serene atmosphere.

The years pass and the holiday village gradually anchors itself in the local landscape to today be a key player in Lot et Garonnais tourism. At the same time, the holiday village is being transformed by the construction of leisure infrastructure and original and comfortable accommodation. Instead of the temporary residence for the elderly, a care home has been created which accommodates people with mental disabilities.

To the delight of holidaymakers, a fun aqua space is located on the site. Free and accessible to all, young and old can cool off and play freely with the water.

For 2 years, the holiday village has been reinventing itself.
