SUMMER AT THE VINEYARD:

Every year, the Les Vignerons de Buzet cooperative offers numerous vineyard discovery activities to do with the family, in the spirit of green tourism.

What's new:

• visits to the Buzet castle park
• yoga session in the vineyards
• Escape Game around sustainable development
• two workshops, one on truffles & wine and the other on sustainable development

ESCAPE GAME:

You join a team of winegrowers and your mission is to find a way to protect the region against the harmful effects of climate change. You have 60 minutes to solve the puzzles and save our vineyard. The fate of AOC Buzet rests in your hands!

• Duration: 1 hour + free wine tasting
• Price: €30 per person, 2 people minimum
• Schedule: Monday to Friday at 9:30 a.m., 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.

TRUFFLES AND WINE

Without doubt the workshop most full of flavors! Visit a truffle farm with a digging demonstration then take part in a truffle butter tasting workshop combined with our wines for the greatest pleasure of your taste buds.

VINEYARD CIRCUIT BY ELECTRIC BIKE

Your travel guide takes you on a tour of the vineyard by electric bike, to discover the landscape of the Vignerons de Buzet. Between forests and vineyards, let yourself be charmed by a preserved terroir. Rest assured, the route is without difficulty. Baby seats are available.

GUIDED WALKING TOUR

Why all these weeds between the rows of vines? What are these nest boxes perched all over the estate for? Why do the vines grow here on clay-limestone soil? Let yourself be told the story of a collective engaged in innovative viticulture in the service of life. Your guides? A winegrower-beekeeper duo will detail the actions of the cooperative, including the protection of bees. After the walk, you will taste a selection of wines from Vignerons de Buzet and local products.

THE WORKSHOP IN DD

Sustainable development, at the Vignerons de Buzet we don't just talk about it, we act! Discover how we apply it to the world of wine and you will see that a small gesture can do big things! A fun and friendly way to raise awareness of this cause, both young and old.

THE CHÂTEAU DE BUZET PARK OPENS ITS DOORS FOR A COMMENTED WALK

This summer, for the first time in a long time, the Château de Buzet park becomes public again! Travel with your guide through time by discovering the park of the Château de Buzet. What importance did the castle and its different owners have in the history of viticulture? How was he already a pioneer in terms of viticulture? A whole part of the history of this place is revealed thanks to the work of a historian.
From the chapel to the forest path, from majestic trees to period factories, you will walk in the footsteps of the lords and you will discover the organization of this ancient Castral village in the town of Buzet.

• July and August, Monday to Saturday. Meet at 10 a.m. at our store. 2h30 walk. Tasting offered at the end of the visit. Reservation required (limited number of places).
• Prices: €5/person. €3 for under 12s. 1€ per entry donated to the preservation of this heritage!

The Les Vignerons de Buzet cooperative bought the castle and its park in 2019 from the successors of its last private owners. This heritage ensemble is a symbol of the territory and this is how the cooperative wants it to live.

RELAXING YOGA MOMENT IN THE VINEYARD

In the middle of the vineyards, on one of the most beautiful areas of the appellation, overlooking the Garonne valley, treat yourself to a moment of relaxation. A yoga teacher accompanies you for an introductory session in the great outdoors, breathe fresh air and reconnect with the sweet sound of the vineyard. Tasting offered at the end of the session.

GEOCACHING TREASURE HUNT

With Terra Aventura, experience the emotion of a surprising treasure hunt! Go hunting for Poï'z through the Domaine de Gueyze, a full-scale experimental vineyard of the cooperative's actions in favor of the environment and biodiversity. All you have to do is download the Terra Aventura application for free on your smartphone or tablet, access the special Nature geocaching circuit of the Vignerons de Buzet then solve the puzzles linked to sustainable development and thus discover the Poï'z .
