Duras Castle

The Château de Duras will delight your children, as the visit alternates between the Renaissance and Middle Ages periods, depending on the architecture and the various renovations. It's a fun visit for everyone, with a child-friendly museum, games (escape game and workshops in season), and shows. Around the Château, you'll enjoy strolling through the Pays de Duras, which is also home to wine châteaux grouped under the appellation of Bergerac and Duras wines.

Fous de Garonne, a playful interpretation centre and its boat trips!

Fous de Garonne is a place in Couthures-sur-Garonne, a great activity to do with children on the banks of the Garonne. It is an unusual and unusual place, a living museum on the banks of the Garonne river, which explains to you, through the history of the inhabitants of the region, the specificities of this river which has made its own way! Floods and their consequences, transport of materials, life at the rhythm of the water... You will learn more about relief, mutual aid between inhabitants and solidarity, when the river is raging!

The Water Lily Garden, a bucolic place

Latour-Marliac is home to an exceptional collection of over 250 species of water lilies. On-site, the museum will explain everything you need to know before you enjoy the various areas: exotic greenhouses, ponds and fountains, bamboo grove, pond, and small Japanese bridge. A refreshing and soothing atmosphere, which will be greatly appreciated as soon as the weather is nice.

The NautiliusBKS leisure center, water rides

Right next door, in Castelmoron-sur-Lot, you can rent paddleboards, canoes, pedal boats, electric boats, and even a hydroplane from NautiliusBKS. Courses, introductory sessions, and all sorts of activities are available on-site.

The Prune Farm and Museum

Head to Laffite-sur-Lot to meet real growers of the traditional Ente plum, which produces the famous Agen prune. In the Prune Farm and Museum shop, you'll find all sorts of products made from these delicious, soft, and tender prunes, straight from the production farm. Yum... The visit will delight children, as there's a fun and introductory course to become a 19th-century prune grower.

Adults can get an audio guide to learn about all the stages of production and everything there is to know about prunes, with seasonal activities too!

Des-chênes-toi Adventure, to have fun and let loose in the trees

We're heading to the Pays du Dropt region, near the old medieval fortified town of Duras. You'll gain height and climb to the peaks at the Des-chênes-toi Aventure treetop adventure park . 16 courses, 200 workshops, and 2 zip lines await you for a fun, safe family adventure, suitable for ages 3 and up.

To discover the local heritage, you will enjoy lovely walks in the villages of Allemans du Dropt and Loubès-Bernac.

Lake Lougratte and its leisure center

After exercise, come relaxation! Between Castillonès and Cancon, two beautiful villages, lies Lake Lougratte. You'll enjoy a relaxing time with supervised swimming, a sandy beach for playing, fishing, a playground, volleyball courts, pétanque, and a fitness trail. You can picnic on site and use the barbecues provided. There's also a snack bar.

The Bastides Museum, an immersion in the Middle Ages

There are many fortified towns to visit in the region. But what were they used for? What was daily life like in a fortified town in the Middle Ages? The Monflanquin Bastide Museum will answer all your questions on the subject for young and old. The visit is fun, with models, a specially designed booklet with questions, an interactive game , and activities for children.
