The Lot-et-Garonne water plans and leisure centers

What could be better than a good swim to cool off when the weather comes! Lot-et-Garonne has a few bodies of water, swimming pools and leisure centers in which young and old can indulge in the pleasures of fishing and nautical activities .

Natural lakes, leisure centers, beaches , you will find here all the good addresses , the prices , the schedules as well as the good plans to get there, and this throughout the whole territory of Lot-et-Garonne . Please note, for the whole 2020 season and due to the health measures linked to COVID 19, please make a phone call to the tourist offices to confirm the opening of these places before going there. Cool off in Val de Garonne / Gascogne:

•  Clarens lake leisure center: Located in Casteljaloux , the Clarens leisure base makes you enjoy its sandy beaches and its various sports and family activities . The leisure center is open all year round . Access is free except from mid-June to early September . During the summer period, the base is therefore chargeable and swimming is authorized and supervised ( 11 am-7pm for July and August, 11 am-6pm for June and September). The entry price is more than correct: from 13 years old , the ticket is 2.50 € . The leisure center is free for children under 12 and for residents of Casteljaloux . Fishermen do not pay entry either upon presentation of their fishing card . On the edge of the lake, you can take advantage of the tree climbing courses, pedal boat rides, do your paintball session and hike a few hiking trails (health trails available). You can even eat there ! The leisure center lends two seahorse armchairs for people with disabilities or reduced mobility (an adult model, a child model). Dogs are unfortunately not allowed, during the summer season, on the beaches. More information here!
  

• Aquaval in Marmande: From the beginning of July to the end of August , Aquaval opens its Aquapark , every day from 1.30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Young and old will enjoy the two pools, whirlpools, slides and its outdoor area . • Marmande beach : Marmande beach is open to all, free of charge , and swimming is supervised from July to the end of August from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. This beach is located in the heart of the Filhole plain in Coussan. There, visitors have at their disposal picnic tables , play areas for children, toilets as well as many activities: mini-golf, health course, skate park …

• The Mas d'Agenais summer pool is open from the beginning of July to the end of August, for summer holidaymakers. There are play and relaxation areas, next to a sports pool, a paddling pool, water games, there is also a snack area and entertainment depending on the day. More information, click

• Another municipal swimming pool is located in Meilgan-sur-Garonne, in Tonneins on the same opening dates. Entrance at 2 euros, do not deprive yourself;) More info here

Swimming in the Lot Valley:

• Plage sur le Lot in Castelmoron-sur-Lot: Swimming is supervised during the summer and entry is completely free . The opening hours of the surveillance post are as follows: Tuesday to Sunday , from 1.30 p.m. to 7 p.m. This lake, located at the gates of the town of Castelmoron-sur-Lot , allows you to swim while being close to the shops and amenities of the village. In addition, you can also enjoy with family, friends or as a couple the nautical activities offered by various leisure bases near the lake. So, canoe, row boat or rent a boat for a boat trip.
  
  

• Plage sur le Lot in Clairac: Municipal beach in the Lot , Clairac beach is completely free all year round . Swimming is of course supervised in July and August, every afternoon. All you have to do is put down your parasol, your towel and put your feet in the water while enjoying an excellent landscape!

•  Lac de Lougratte: Lac de Lougratte is a leisure center open from mid-June to the end of August . The entry price is € 2.50 per adult and € 1.50 per child. Cards including several visits are available which allows a slight reduction . The parking lot is quite large and shaded. Dogs are unfortunately not allowed. (Attention, risk of closure for the 2020 season, inquire at the Town Hall upstream). The lake covers 7000m². Swimming is supervised only in the afternoon , from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. A green flag indicates the presence of lifeguards. The lake has a beach area with very clean fine sand. All around, there are some spaces dedicated to angling (ask for a card) and several other activities ( diving pontoon, pedalos, toboggan, fitness trail, canoes at 6 € per hour and 4 € for 30 minutes ). Lake Lougratte is equipped with a lifeguard station and several showers that allow you to rinse off before or after swimming. It is therefore a complete site which offers various and varied services. • Malbentre Aquatic Center: It is in Pujols that you can enjoy this aquatic center . In summer, the center welcomes its visitors 7 days a week, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. ( except Sundays , from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.). Sports pools, balneotherapy area, learning areas, hamman and outdoor pools will appeal to young and old alike. Subscription cards for 40 entries are available at reception. • Moulineau lake : The Moulineau lake is located in Damazan. Swimming is authorized and supervised only in summer , from the beginning of July to the end of August from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. This surveillance takes place every day, except Tuesday . It is forbidden to swim outside these hours . The lake is free and open to everyone. You can relax on the beach, eat an ice cream or have a drink at the refreshment bar and enjoy many other activities : tennis, mini-golf, volleyball and even ski lift. • Rogé Leisure Center: Enjoy an excellent setting by going to the Rogé leisure base in Villeneuve-sur-Lot . Take advantage of the many nautical activities such as canoeing, water skiing but also other outdoor leisure activities : horse riding, trampoline, archery … Several picnic areas are installed with a pleasant view of the castle, guaranteed relaxation!

• Nature Etangs Ferrié site: Come and refresh yourself and relax, it is a community site with water games, activities to do around the lake and a restaurant area.  • Nautilius BSK: If you like canoeing, pedal boat rides and other nautical activities , the Nautilius leisure center in Castelmoron-sur-Lot (under the bridge) is for you. You even have somewhat unusual rentals with motor boats or hydroplanes . You can also rent bikes to explore Lot-et-Garonne while pedaling! The leisure center is open from June to September from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., 7 days a week, the beach is monitored . A car park and a restaurant area welcome you (cold drinks, ice cream, etc.).

Soak in Agenais:

• Lud'oParc: Discover the different pools, slides and waterfalls of Lud'o Parc , located in Nérac . The water park is open every day from 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. ( July to September ), except Wednesdays, where late - night openings take place until 9:30 p.m. The prices are as follows: for adults , the entry ticket is € 11.40 a day . For children under 12 , it costs € 8.30. Finally, it's free for children under 3 . Children can also have fun on the various inflatable games , fountains and adults can enjoy the relaxation pool . • Aquasud is a swimming pool located in Agen, a welcome water point during hot summer days! There are two pools and an aquatic area. You can also practice aquagym and aquabike lessons there. More info here
