Duras Castle

The Château de Duras will appeal to your children, as the visit alternates between the Renaissance and Middle Ages periods, depending on the architecture and the various alterations. It's a fun visit for everyone, with a museography suitable for children, games (Escape Game and workshops in season) and shows. Around the Château, you will enjoy strolling through the Pays de Duras, which is also home to wine-growing châteaux grouped together under the appellation of Bergerac and Duras Wines.

The Stelsia, a magical castle

Once upon a time, in the Lot Valley, there was a magic castle... It looks like it came from the imagination of a fairy, designed by magicians, and created for the sole pleasure of children. Let's say no more, rather follow our blogger in report and video...

La Grotte de Lastournelle, an underground beauty

At Sainte-Colombe-de-Villeneuve, you enter the bowels of the earth, in the Lastournelle cave. Visit with a flashlight, treasure hunt, workshop for apprentice paleontologists, the guides know how to capture the attention of the children who will come out of this adventure, wide-eyed and amazed by so much sparkle.

The Water Lily Garden, a bucolic place

It is an exceptional collection of more than 250 species of water lilies that you can admire at Latour-Marliac. On site, the museum will explain everything you need to know, before enjoying the different spaces: exotic greenhouses, ponds and fountains, bamboo grove, pond and small Japanese bridge. A refreshing and soothing atmosphere, which will be very appreciated on sunny days.

The NautiliusBKS leisure center, walks on the water

Right next door, in Castelmoron-sur-Lot, you can rent from NautiliusBKS : paddle, canoe, pedal boat, electric boat, and even a hydroplane. Courses, initiations, and all kinds of activities are available on site.

The prune farm and museum

Come to Laffite-sur-Lot for a meeting with real growers of the traditional Ente plum, which gives the famous Agen prune. In the Pruneau Farm and Museum shop, you will find all kinds of products made from these delicious, melting and soft artisanal prunes, straight from the production farm. Hmmm... The visit will appeal to children because it is accompanied by an audio guide that explains all the stages of production and everything there is to know about prunes, with also activities in season!

Des-chênes-toi Adventure, to have fun and go wild in the trees

We start in the Pays du Dropt, next to the old medieval bastide town of Duras. You will gain height and climb to the peaks, in the Des-chênes-toi Aventure tree climbing park. 16 courses, 200 workshops, 2 zip lines await you for a good time of family sport, accessible from 3 years old and in complete safety.

To discover the local heritage, you will enjoy lovely walks in the villages of Allemans du Dropt and Loubès-Bernac.

Lougratte lake and its leisure center

After sport, comfort ! Between Castillonès (fr) and Cancon, two very beautiful villages, is the Lac de Lougratte (fr). You will enjoy a moment of relaxation with supervised swimming, a sandy beach to play on, fishing, playground, volleyball courts, petanque, sports course. You can picnic on site and use the barbecues provided. But there is also a snack.

The Bastides Museum, an immersion in the Middle Ages

There are many bastides to visit in the region. But what were they for? What was daily life like in a bastide town in the Middle Ages?... The Bastide Museum of Monflanquin will answer all questions from young and old on the subject. The visit is fun with models, an adapted booklet with questions, an interactive game and activities for children.

Would you like a ride in the Val de Garonne Gascogne ? Between Marmande and the royal bastide of Miramont de Guyenne, the Ranch de Bel Air welcomes you for courses, hikes, horse or pony rides.
